PR Week’s new design has revitalised the magazine. Well done. Good to more than a head and shoulders of editor Danny Rogers (shiny shoes as well).
I did wonder whether the magazine was introducing a ‘standing’ policy as per the trend in TV news anchors at the moment.
I believe the thinking is that it is more comfortable than sitting down while speaking as your entire body is in a better position allowing easier breathing.
Easier breathing was certainly needed by France’s president Nicolas Sarkozy's this week.
In an attempt to kick start his EU presidency with a positive TV interview, his public relations efforts were unexpectedly undermined by the power of online communications, when leaked footage of him losing his temper in front of the camera became an instant internet hit.

Perhaps there is something in this standing-up theory. It may well have helped Mr. Sarkozy to take a deep breath.
